This year we have a race to suit everyone. We kick off with our Sprint Distance Aquathon on Wednesday 1 July – the last race in the Midlands 2015 Aquathon series. Following just over a week later, on Saturday 11 July we’ll be holding our well renowned Two Provinces Triathlon.
Two Provinces Triathlon is popular for many reasons. Warm waters, flat bike route on closed roads, scenic run route with plenty of marshals to give you a boost when needed most, lively music, plenty of post race refreshments, yogurt, ice-creams, fruit, post race meal and parking right beside transition.
This year, we’re also running a Try-a-Tri (for those want to give triathlon a go), an Aquabike (Swim & Bike, but no run) and of course, the Two Provinces Kidathon for young aspiring triathletes.
Later in the year, on the August Bank holiday (Monday 3 August), we’ll be holding a 3.9km swim, starting upriver at Kilnacarrow bridge and concluding in Lanesboro – ideal training for anyone preparing for an Ironman!
